The Sardinia Fishing Challenge is the International fishing qualifying competition for the Offshore World Championship (IGFA- O.W.C.). Such event is destined to become a world-renowned annually recurring activity and is organized by Boat and Fishing with the technical partnership of SNO Yachts and Simrad, brand of Navico group, World leader in marine electronics.
This great and exclusive tournament aims to be the main event of the fishing summer season, offering four days of pure adventure, fun and competition during which boats will become the tool that puts in contact man and nature in an exciting connection in the frame of one of the World most striking landscapes.
During the Sardinia Fishing Challenge we will support:
-Environmental protection thanks to the “Catch and Release” of the protected species and under regulation.
-The scientific research, joining a program dedicated to the Mediterranean spearfishes promoted by IGFA and its representative Luca Bonfanti.
-Solidarity, thanks to the humanitarian foundation Operation Smile Italia Onlus, a long-time partner of sport fishing events, chaired by Santo Versace, scientific director Dr. Domenico Scopelliti;
-Internationality, beign a qualifying event for the Offshore World Championship (Offshore World Championship).
